Why we built these tools
A whole-fence quantity is not enough to mark a Rail. Posts, Gates and Corners split a fence into separate openings. EvenGap solves those openings individually, shows running measurements, and prints strips that can be checked with a ruler.
Who is behind the calculations
The EvenGap editorial team develops and tests the software. We do not claim engineering licensure, inspection authority or construction qualifications. Our formula reference publishes the assumptions so you can inspect the arithmetic yourself.
What happens to your dimensions
Calculations run in your browser. The plan is stored in its URL, which you can copy and share. There are no accounts or server-side saved plans. Read the privacy notice for analytics and link details.
